POOL!!!!

So, here are the photos of the pool addition! We have been working hard, and still have so much more to do! Sod, more trees on the fence line for privacy, etc. So far, so good. We are all thoroughly enjoying it. The hammock is the latest, and my personal favorite addition. The fire pit comes in a close second! Sorry it has taken me so long to post photos.

Dad's 60th

This Saturday, we hosted a 60Th birthday party for Dad. Mom and I wanted a menu that he would enjoy, so we went with Ribs, potato salad, baked beans, and green beans. I made a Lemon cake, and Mom bought a sheet cake as well.

Amanda Lily was so sweet. She made his present at her craft table. It was a little card that said, "I wanted to say I love you" She was so excited to give it to him. I think it was his favorite. Everything went off with out a hitch! He was so happy to share this special milestone with 25 of his closest friends and family.

PS....our pool is done, but I'm waiting to do a post on it until we get the landscaping complete. some of these photos are a bit of a preview!
