First Advent Candle

This weekend marked the lighting of the first Advent candle of the season at the kids school. Amanda Lily and all of 2nd grade were the singing angels in the program. It was a packed house, and I had to get my photos from the balcony, so they aren't great. Heather and Mia joined us for the evening, and we all went for sushi afterwards. I enjoyed the program, and am looking forward to the coming Advent plays that are planned. This is the first year that our kids are participating in Christmas plays at school. I LOVE it! It makes Christmas come alive for me to hear those young voices singing about Christ's birth. Tis the Season!
