Nutcracker Excerpts

Amanda Lily was excited to be invited to dance in the Nutcracker excerpts her ballet school performed this Christmas season. She was one of the littlest angels. They did three performances total, and put in HOURS of rehearsals during November and December. Light up Mt Dora was first, where they light up 1000's of light to kick off the holiday season. Next, they danced with a live orchestra at St Patrick's Church. That was awesome, and a great experience for the dancers to know how it feels to dance in sync with live music. The final performance was at Sorrento Elementary School, where they got to dance during a school day, and share their love of dance with other kids. Amanda Lily thought it was cool to get to miss school for a dance performance.
